SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with curative-prophylactic and food biologically active preparations. Hematogen is indicated to treat and prevent different anemic forms both in children and adults and diseases induced by calcium deficiency. Hematogen contains biologically active additive of animal origin - bony powder, sugar, vanillin, whole evaporated or dry milk, starch syrup, black food albumin, ascorbic acid, selexen albumin, sea buckthorn oil or "Revit" dragee and drinking water. The product suggested provides improved curative properties and broadened assortment of products obtained out of the blood of slaughtered animals.
