FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at enhancing efficiency at the expense of reducing allowable heating temperature of water to be deaerated to 75 C. Heated water at pressure 1-2 kg/sq.cm is mixed with steam fed at pressure 1.5-2 kg/sq.cm to form drops and steam-gas phase. Because of bubble collapse, reduced pressure occur in the liquid accompanied with shock waves. Then, thus formed stream is accelerated to speed 6- 10 m/s and directed onto curvilinear surface where it acquires centripetal acceleration in the range 500-1400 m/s2 for particles moving along surface and creates artificial gravity field facilitating liberation of gas from liquid. Drops coalesce to give stream of deaerated liquid. EFFECT: increased deaeration quality and reduced power consumption. 2 tbl
