FIELD: heat power industry; applicable in removal of gases from feed water of heating and hot-water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: deaeration is carried out discretely by cycles in deaerator with variable volume. Supply of water to deaerator is started after formation of difference between pressure in water supply branch pipe and pressure in deaerator produced and maintained by increase of deaeration volume from minimum to maximum sizes. Deaerator is provided with mechanism for varying its volume. Water supply branch pipe has inlet valve, and each discharge branch pipe has discharge valve. Mechanism of deaerator variation and branch pipe discharge valve for withdrawal of vapor-gas phase are connected with drive. Mechanism is made in the form of membrane with rigid-center.
