FIELD: heat-power engineering; contact-type heat exchangers. SUBSTANCE: heat-and-mass exchange apparatus has shell 1 with water supply branch pipe 2 and steam supply branch pipe 3, mixing chamber 4, steam nozzle 5 and liquid nozzle 6 which is shifted relative to steam nozzle 5 along motion of flow. Dispersion chamber 7 is formed between nozzles 5 and 6 and mixing chamber 4. Liquid nozzle 6 is just combination system of profiled passages. Each passage 8 is shifted relative to steam nozzle 6 by length "A" whose magnitude is chosen from the following relationship: A=3-8D, where D is inner diameter of respective passage. Dispersion chamber 7 may be provided with reflector 10 and may be brought into communication with branch pipe 2. EFFECT: optimal degree of dispersion; avoidance of losses of steam energy for doing liquid decay work; enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
