FIELD: organic chemistry and chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of 4-12 moles phenol with 1 mole acetone in multisection reactor column with suspended catalyst layer. Column has a raw of perforated plates and drain tubes being both have screens where ion-exchange resin particles in acid form are placed. All phenol is loaded up to superior plate and all acetone is added in column through some inlets fitted along column wall. Inert gas arising through plates and catalyst particles on their is stirring reaction mass (liquid) and catalyst particles being suspension is formed. Also, this gas removes water formed in the process of phenol reaction and acetone. The reaction mass is fed in crystallizer where cooled and forms bisphenol-A adduct crystals and mother liquor. Adduct crystals are separated from mother liquor and phenol is removed from adduct crystals. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, high and ultrapure the end product. 25 cl, 8 dwg, 6 ex
