FIELD: measurement of relief of surface of objects, specifically, bullets, cases, forensic and ballistic investigations. SUBSTANCE: gear includes opto-mechanical module 1, electronic unit 2 of signal primary processing and unit 3 for information analysis and presentation in which capacity personal computer is used. Opto-mechanical module 1 is composed of two-coordinate horizontal table 4. Laser optoelectronic head 7 has source 8 of laser radiation, optical system 9 and integrated multielement photomatrix 10 which output is connected to electron unit 2 of signal primary processing. Two- coordinate table 4 is mounted for movement along two mutually perpendicular coordinates X, Y in horizontal plane. Rigging 13 for positioning of one or several examined projectiles 14 is arranged on surface of table. EFFECT: enhanced objectivity, accuracy and authenticity of identification process, expanded functional capabilities of gear, implementation of automated accounting and test of objects with use of bullet and case records. 1 cl, 1 dwg
