FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: appliance is used for determination of gas pressure in cylinders of internal combustion engines. Appliance has body fitted with thread for coupling of pressure gauge and another thread into which pipe connection is screwed. Pipe connection end protruding from body mounts two-step cylinder. Appliance also includes check valve and changeable adapter which has stepped through hole. Attachment elements which hold pipe connection in adapter in axial direction are provided on pipe connection and adapter. Adapter is fitted with element ensuring its fastening in engine cylinder hole. Two-step cylinder of pipe connection has circular groove accommodating the packing ring which seals stepped through hole in adapter. Axial recess and circular groove which receives end of fin press-fitted into adapter are used as attachment elements on larger step of two-step cylinder of pipe connection. Compression may be measured practically in any engine. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement. 5 cl, 3 dwg
