FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is used to determined maximum compression in engine cylinders. Device has body with axial stepped hole. Pressure gauge is screwed into body on one side and pipe connection intended for coupling of device to engine cylinder, on the other. Pusher designed to release air is arranged in pipe connection. Pusher end is brought outside pipe connection. Flat end surface of pipe connection serves as check valve seat. Valve is made as two-step plunger. Lower step of plunger carries rubber disc and bushing placed in pipe connection hole. One end of disc contacts end surface of two-step plunger positioned between larger and smaller steps. Other end of disc faces flat end surface of pipe connections. EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced dimensions. 2 dwg
