METHOD FOR CORRECTION OF ROUTES IN DATA TRANSMISSION NETWORK Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: electronic communication, in particular, data transmission networks with packet or message switching. SUBSTANCE: method involves search of message delivery routes to mobile user using code of network address of commutation node of its current location. Routes to mobile user are corrected at commutation nodes using system correction message which has codes of network addresses of mobile user, commutation node and correction operation code "store" or "remove". This results in possibility of correction in local parts of network without need for global correction. EFFECT: automatic decentralized correction of routes to mobile users of data transmission network, increased efficiency of network resources used for correction, decreased memory requirements for commutation nodes which store routing information, increased speed of route correction. 2 cl, 5 dwg
