FIELD: production of engine oils, additions to fuels and other like materials. SUBSTANCE: worm-and-disk extruder has feed cylinder, worm with screw cut and disk with drive arranged in tandem with worm in feed cylinder and connected with rotation drive. Disk is made in form of conical member pointed with cone top to zone of outlet hole of feed cylinder. Ratio of working clearance section in top and bottom of cone is 1:10 or greater. In some design versions two and more disks in form of conical member can be mounted in tandem. Peculiarity of flowing in branching channel under mainly tangential movement is increasing unstable action of shear deformations onto melt. Under conditions of turbulization of motion and unstable shear deformations intensive destructive processes take place which considerably decrease molecular mass of initial high molecular compound.
