FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: bronze-binding base tools are subjected for preliminary treatment to remove mechanical contaminants and chemical fat removing and then treated in electrolyte an aqueous solution of the following composition, g/l: sulfuric acid 100-200; copper sulfate 25-75; chloride ions 5-10, and water - the rest at current density 700-1500 A/m2 at 40-60 C. Anode is subjected for reciprocal motion. Copper is extracted on titanium cathode of smooth surface. Cathode yield by current is 80-98%, dissolving rate is 1239-3062 g/h, electrolyte solution can be used for 100-120 cycles. Ecologically dangerous by-side products are absent. EFFECT: improved method of recuperation, increased yield and rate. 1 tbl, 1 ex
