FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: method consists in multistep catalytic reforming at 480-530 C, pressure 1.4-3.5 MPa, volume velocity 1.0-2.0 h-1, and hydrogen to raw material molar ratio 3-8. Reforming products are preliminarily rectified to form fraction boiling away below 100 C or 70-100 C fraction which are brought in contact with solid-phase phosphoric acid catalyst in presence of propane-propylene fraction at elevated temperature and pressure followed by mixing contact products with remaining reforming fractions. According to invention, contacting is effected at 200-250 C, pressure 0.8-3.0 MPa, and reformat to olefin volume ratio from 2:1 to 6: 1. Octane number of gasoline is increased by 1.3-4.8 points and yield by 1.4-6.8%. EFFECT: increased yield of gasoline and improved its anti-knock characteristics. 2 cl, 1 tbl
