FIELD: methods in inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method is meant for application to semiconductor industry, to nuclear waste utilization in nuclear power industry, etc. Method of isolation of lead, tellurium, and alkali-earth metals from mixtures with other ions in solution includes formation of complexes of these metals' cations with compounds formed from macrocyclic polyester cryptand ligands covalently bound to inorganic matrix. To that end, such solutions are passed through column with above-mentioned compounds and bound metal cations are then selectively removed. Volume of receiving solution is inferior to that in which metal ions were initially contained, so cation solutions obtained are more concentrated. Metal cations can be further reduced by known techniques. EFFECT: increased selectivity of isolation and increased economical efficiency. 32 cl, 17 ex
