SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to recover ions Ru3+, Pd4+, Pd2+, Au+, Au3+, Ag+ and Hg2+ from toxic industrial solutions have general formula I and 2 () where L is Cl,Br,I, alkyl, alkoxy, substituted alkyl or alkoxy; M is L or X-A-Q; X is X-(CH2)a(OCH2CHR1CH2)6 with R1 being H, SH, OH, lower alkyl or aryl, a=2 to 10 and b being I, phenyl and methacryl; A is S, O, NR2 and CH2 with R2 being H and lower alkyl; A is S when Q contains no S atoms; Q is phenyl, thiophenyl, naphthyl, biphenyl, pyridyl, pyrimidinyl, pyrazyl, pyridazinyl, furyl, thianyl, pyrryl, quinolinyl, and bipyridyl; matrix is sand, silica gel, glass, fiber glass, silica, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide, nickel oxide, or their mixtures; Y and Z are independent and selected from: O-matrix, X-A-Q, Cl, Br, I, alkyl, alkoxy, substituted alkyl or alkoxy. Ions are recovered by bringing solution containing the ions into contact with compound 1 or 2, treating mixture by a receiving solution having higher affinity for ions to be recovered or higher affinity for complex compounds 1 and 2 as compared to affinity of ions for these compounds, and reducing ions in concentrated state in lesser volume of receiving solution. When the latter is 10 ml, it receives at least 95% of ions from 100 ml of original solution. EFFECT: facilitated ion recovery. 37 cl
