FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wear-resistant alloy that has the following components, wt.-%: solid particles of cast tungsten carbides 40.0-75.0; alloy-binding 13.0-48.0; flux 12.0-13.0. Alloy-binding has the following composition, wt.-%: carbon 0.03-0.10; chrome 11.0-13.0; molybdenum 1.6-2.3; manganese 18.0-25.0; titanium 0.20-0.35; magnesium 0.005-0.025, and copper - the rest. Method involves preliminary preparing a mixture of components to obtain alloy-binding and the latter is made in opened induction furnace. Powder of alloy-binding for fusing is obtained by chips grinding to make granules. Charge for fusing is made by stirring solid particles of cast tungsten carbides, alloy-binding powder and flux followed by induction fusing on steel plates. Samples of alloy-binding are tested for impact tenacity after hardening and tempering and fused metal is tested for wear-resistance in rotating drum filled with sand and wetted with hydrochloric and sulfuric acids and balls made of chilled cast iron. Alloy is used for fusing articles working in corrosive medium containing sulfuric, hydrochloric and other acids.
