FIELD: working of metal.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding manufacture and can be used for argon-arc surfacing of working bodies of agricultural tilling machines operating under conditions of dynamic loads and abrasive wear. The surfacing composition contains, % wt.: carbon 1.0 to 2.5, chromium 14.0 to 17.0, nickel 1.0 to 2.0, manganese 2.0 to 4.0, silicon 1.0 to 2.0, tungsten 1.0 to 2.0, vanadium 1.0 to 2.0, molybdenum 0.5 to 1.0, copper 1.0 to 2.0, nitrogen 0.1 to 0.3, iron the rest.
EFFECT: increased physical and mechanical properties, namely hardness, strength, impact toughness and adhesion strength of the deposited layer with the base metal, as well as increased resistance of the deposited metal to abrasive wear.
