FIELD: oil-producing industry, in particular, microbiological method of increase of oil recovery at late stages of production of oil formation to which mineralized water is injected for maintenance of formation pressure. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction to bottom-hole formation zone of injection well of biomass of aerobic hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms in aerated solution of nutrients with subsequent injection of water. Novelty in the claimed method consists in that microorganisms are used in the form of halotolerant and/or halophilic strains of microorganisms and for injection is used mineralized water with salt content above 50 g/l. Injection of mineralized water is alternated with injection of sweet water. In so doing, introduced into bottom-hole formation zone of injection well may be wastes of starch syrup production. EFFECT: higher extension of field of microbiological treatment of formation with concurrent increase of its efficiency.
