FIELD: remote dismounting of radioactive equipment. SUBSTANCE: equipment parts are separated according to level of their radioactive contamination followed by their separate decontamination. Then pieces of equipment are split into smaller parts for their further compact storage. Near-surface sections of higher radiation level are cut out by laser beam. The latter is used for dismounting, cutting, and separation of equipment parts. EFFECT: improved reliability and facilitated check-up of distance between nozzle edge and surface of part being cut. 6 cl, 3 dwg
