FIELD: descent of objects. SUBSTANCE: parachute is secured to descent object by means of rope and roller. Rope is passed towards free end of roller and braking is effected towards parachute. Free end of rope is thrown to landing area and is connected with drive to regulate rate of descent by hauling-in free end of rope. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of control of rate of descent of object.
