FIELD: descent of objects in air medium. SUBSTANCE: descent object is movably connected with parachute by rope passed through roller and adjustable brake engageable with rope. Rocket whose thrust is chosen to be more than or equal to aerodynamic drag of parachute is secured on other end of rope; then rocket is launched to reduce rate of descent of object regulating the rate of descent by means of brake gradually releasing it. EFFECT: avoidance of impact load at touch-down with landing area.
