FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: antidetonation agent to gasoline comprises methyl- and dimethylanilines and nickel in the form of Ni(CnH2n+1COO)2 wherein n is 10-16. Optimum content of nickel in methyl- and dimethylanilines is 40-100 mg of nickel per kg of anilines. Use of addition system reduces deposits in internal system and soot formation relative to nickel- free anilines by about 20 times and increases octane number by 0.5-0.6. EFFECT: improved properties of the antidetonation addition agent. 1 tbl
