METHOD FOR QUALITY CONTROL OF WASTE - DISTILLERY GRAINS AT PRODUCTION OF ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: production of alcohol from grain raw material. SUBSTANCE: method includes control of alcohol content, acidity and content of dry substances in distillery grains. Additional control of alcohol content in distillery grains is conducted on 2-5 tables of flash part of distillation column, and according to its result, discharging of distillery grains is prognosed from column into distillery collector. The process is conducted at the following ratio of components, mas.%: dry substances, 6.0-12.0; water, the balance. pH is equal to 4.0-6.0. Alcohol content in distillery is not more 0.01-0.012% of volume. Dry substances contain the following ingredients, %: ashes 0.3-0.5; nitrous substances, 1.7-2.0; fat, 0.4-0.9; cellulose, 0.7-0.9; nitrogen-free extractive substances, 4.4-4.7. EFFECT: improved quality control, and prevention against additional losses of alcohol.
