FIELD: documents identifying a person, in particular, permits for accessing guarded objects. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of identification region with unique optical characteristics, which is monitored using optical scanning beam. This identification region includes visual information about permit holder and encoded data about permit holder on opposite sides of permit body, which is not transparent for visible laser and transparent for scanning beam. Said information is located in arbitrary positions. EFFECT: decreased costs for production of document which necessary belongs to particular person and checking its authentication, decreased possibility for faking. 4 cl, 2 dwg
