FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves partially exsecting the optic disk. Ring- shaped implant is placed into the created bed. External diameter of the implant is equal to bed diameter of the removed optic disk. Ring thickness in its center is greater than bed depth in calculated value depending on planned initial refraction and thickness of the cornea but not greater than 150 mcm. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
