FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing myopization of amblyotic eye from 6 to 8 D by means of keratoplasty with infrared laser radiation having 1.3 to 3 mcm wavelength, from 100 to 600 mJ impulse power with impulse number from 18 to 40 in peripheral cornea zone. The intact central zone diameter is equal to from 4.5 to 6 mm. The central area of the retina is stimulated two weeks later with interrupted laser radiation with application duration from 0.5 to 1 s. Visual loading is applied at close distance with progressive reduction of shown objects size. EFFECT: stable increase in vision acuity; enabled creation of binocular vision; improved adaptation to various vision loads. 2 cl
