FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is based on connection of series-connected calibrated fixed and variable resistors between measuring and first auxiliary electrodes, on measurement of voltage drop between measuring and second auxiliary electrodes and on calibrated fixed resistor at periodical variation of value of calibrated variable resistor, and on calculation of electrodermal resistance by obtained values of voltage drop and resistance of calibrated fixed resistor. Novelty is in periodical variation of value of calibrated variable resistor at preset frequency and in measurement of variable components of voltage drop. This made it possible to enhance measurement accuracy due to decrease in errors caused by effect of millivoltmeter input resistance and polarization potentials.
