FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes superimposition of measuring electrode on acupuncture point and two auxiliary electrode, beyond this point, connection of calibrated resistor of known resistance value between measuring and one of auxiliary electrodes. Method also includes measurement of potential difference between measuring and second auxiliary electrodes with calibrated resistor connected and disconnected, measurement of voltage drop across calibrated resistor and calculation of electrodermal resistance value at acupuncture point proceeding from measurement results. In addition, resistance of connected calibrated resistor is changed till difference of potentials between measuring and second auxiliary electrodes becomes equal to preset constant voltage value U0. Then voltage drop across calibrated resistor is measured, and electrodermal resistance ZTA at acupuncture point is calculated by formula: , where R0 is calibrated resistor value at U0; U1 is voltage drop across calibrated resistor.
