FIELD: mechanical engineering; wheel making. SUBSTANCE: wheel has rim 1, central part 2 consisting of hub 22 and disk 6, shock absorber 5 arranged between central part 2 and rim 1, at least one flange 3 and fasteners 7 of flange 3. Rim has two fillets 10, 11 on its inner part 9 arranged at one and the other sides of wheel symmetry plane and connected in flat inner part of cylindrical section 12. Shock absorber is of tulip section. Method comes to the following: first monoblock wheel is forged from steel blank with central part consisting of hub and disk and rim connected with disk by fillets whose radius is equal to half the thickness of rim, and then rim is separated from central part by cutting on blanking die over line of disk-to-fillet connection. Before assembling, rim and central part are subjected to machining. EFFECT: enhanced dynamic properties of wheel, increased stability of shock absorber. 4 cl, 3 dwg
