FIELD: chemical technology, inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of potash used in an inorganic and organic synthesis, processes of gas scrubbing and as a raw component in special glass making. Method involves evaporation of potash solution containing sodium carbonate and sulfates also, separation of sodium carbonate, cooling a mixture of sodium carbonate and potash mother liquors and molar ratio of potassium to the sum of potassium and sodium in the mixture is maintained at the range 72.95-94.82%. Then sulfate-containing precipitate is separated, solution obtained after separation of sulfate-containing precipitate is evaporated, sodium-potassium carbonate is separated and potash is isolated from the mother liquor of binary salt by cooling.
