FIELD: reliable detection of mines under ground surface by small-sized equipment. SUBSTANCE: ground surface is irradiated with SHF energy and increment of temperature produced as result of heating of ground different in areas where mine is present in ground or not is monitored. Comparing outlines of increment of temperature with characteristic dimensions of mine one can make conclusion on its presence in ground. EFFECT: improved reliability of method.
