FIELD: phosphor screen units manufactured by electrophotographic technique on inner surface of color tube panel. SUBSTANCE: method involves covering inner surface of tube front wall panel with organic conducting layer by evaporating organic conductive solution and coating organic conducting layer with organic photoconducting layer by means of evaporating organic photoconducting solution. Procedure of coating organic conducting layer with organic photoconducting layer is improved by using intermediate procedure including grounding of organic conducting layer, preparation of organic photoconducting solution incorporating resin, electron donor material, and electron acceptor material, as well as mixture of two solvents with different boiling points, and also another intermediate procedure involving spraying of electrostatically charged droplets of organic photoconducting solution onto organic conducting layer. EFFECT: provision for attaining uniform thickness of organic photoconducting layer covering organic conducting layer. 10 cl, 4 dwg
