BROAD-BAND MICROSTRIP ANTENNA Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2122263 C1

FIELD: printed- circuit microstrip antenna arrays for radar engineering, radio communications, and television, including satellite television. SUBSTANCE: antenna has radiator array arranged above screen on both ends of dielectric substrate and two-wire transmission line with quarter-wave dipoles alternately connected to one of its conductors at distance of half the respective wavelength and half-wave dipoles are connected to its other conductor in center of sheet underside under quarter-wave dipoles; gaps not greater than substrate thickness in their width are formed on sides of all or some of log- periodic half-wave radiators. EFFECT: improved width of frequency band and reduced low value of operating frequency. 5 dwg
