FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the antenna equipment. Ultra-broadband combined log-periodic antenna consists of log-periodic structure made using two-wire microstrip line on dielectric material and symmetrical vibrators made in form of microstrips on dielectric material, and dimensions of symmetrical dipoles and distance between them are selected in accordance with the principle of logarithmic periodicity. Log-periodic structure is electrically connected to a loaded active resistance loop element located behind the low-frequency element of the log-periodic structure through a high frequency (HF) transformer.
EFFECT: wider operating frequency range in the upper part of the operating range, lower coefficient of standing wave (improved matching with the feeder) in the lower part of the working frequency range with simultaneous preservation of the unidirectional beam pattern with reduction of mass and dimensional characteristics.
