FIELD: medical engineering; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: ophthalmologic lens is aspherical biconvex optical element. Lens refraction surfaces are made in the form of corrected parabola according to condition y2= Ax+Bx2, where A changes from 25 to 37, and B, from 0.2 to 3.0. Relation of focal distances of refracting surfaces is within the range of 1:1.05 to 1:1.40. Lens meets almost all requirements to illumination and focusing systems during examination of patient's eyegrounds with different optical force of eyes by means of slit lamp.
