FIELD: measurement of temperature of surfaces predominantly cylindrical not allowing any mechanical damage. SUBSTANCE: device measuring temperature of surface has temperature sensitive element and pressing member. The latter is made in the form of split bimetal ring. Shaped plate manufactured from material undergoing phase reverse martensite transition is installed in groove of ring. Device is supplemented with one more shaped plate made from material with another temperature of phase reverse martensite transition. For instance, from alloy based on iron with content of manganese between 28-34 % and silicon between 5-7%. Additional shaped plate makes it possible to raise reliability of contact of temperature sensitive element with surface which temperature is measured.
