SUBSTANCE: displacement mechanisms of ionizing radiation sources and detectors incorporated in device are flexible planar bases mounting sources and detectors and arranged uniformly along fuel element section and secured on one end between shaped flat springs by means of pin on rod and frame; rod provided with lead container of gamma-ray sources mounting central hub has coaxial tubes with space between them being adjustable and filled with lead pellets; inner tube is elliptical in section with large horizontal axis. Device is suitable for use in hexahedral-shape fuel elements of several sizes, cylindrical and square fuel elements. EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy and capacity. 8 dwg
