FIELD: equipment for harvesting roots of vegetative multiplied plants, such as licorice. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame 1, hanger brackets 2,3,4, tines 5,6, rotocultivator cylinder with undercutting knives and drive, which is formed as cylindrical reducer 10, intermediate shaft 11, conical reducer 12 and telescopic cardan shaft 13 with general-purpose pivot joints 14,15 positioned at cardan shaft ends. Each undercutting knife is formed as U-shaped clip with single-sided blade on horizontal and longitudinal parts. Longitudinal parts of adjacent knives are positioned in overlapped relation on disks of rotocultivator drum. Frame is mounted on supporting skids 16,17 by means of tines 5,6. Such construction allows shear quality to be increased by improved cutting of black head from licorice roots and rootstock. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 5 dwg
