FIELD: fire control equipment. SUBSTANCE: fire monitor has inlet branch pipe pivotally connected with branch pipe movable in vertical plane. Movable branch pipe is pivotally connected with shaft movable in planes perpendicular to vertical plane and with head. Head axis is positioned at intersection point of axes of gun movable in vertical and horizontal planes. Lever-type handle is positioned in upper part of shaft. Light-weight, gun-mount construction of fire monitor allows large amounts of fire-extinguishing liquid flows to be readily controlled. EFFECT: increased efficiency in fire suppression, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
