FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: fire monitor relates to fire extinguishing devices - fire master stream nozzles. Aim of the invention consists in producing a fire monitor with increased working zone of the nozzle pointing which allows for the alteration of the nozzle lifting height and which can be fold to gain minimal dimensions, for example to be put into a thermobox. For this purpose an additional hinge unit is set on the inlet fitting at the turn of 90° from the basement; the unit is rotating in the vertical plane and is connected to the second elbow of the inlet fitting; a thermobox with a hatch can be mounted on the basement. The third degree of mobility allows for the adjustment of the nozzle lifting height thus altering its dimensions and jet angle as well as the pointing aim.
EFFECT: designed protection against environmental impact allows for the operation under severe climatic conditions.
