FIELD: restoration of worn surfaces of parts in different branches of machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of passing welding current through addition material for heating it in zone of contact with welded part; deforming addition material by means of roller electrode and welding it on. Electric current is supplied to welded part, roller electrode and addition material. Electric current regulators are connected to electric circuit "part-current lead", "roller electrode- current lead", "addition material - current lead" respectively. Electric current regulation may be realized due to moving current lead towards addition material relative to contact zone. Current leads of part, addition material and electrode are connected with electric current source independently or in predetermined combination. EFFECT: possibility of providing cracking- free surface of parts with desired strength properties. 3 cl, 5 dwg
