FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in recovery and hardening of parts by electric contact deposition in machine building. Welding current is passed through filler material to heat it in the zone of contact with the part, deform and weld it in place. To deform filler material, electrode pneumatic load circuit is used comprising the device to vary parametres of thermo-mechanical deposition cycle by varying air pressure P in preset range and preset time interval t. Proposed device electrode loading static cycle at P=const or symmetric cycle at P1≠P2 and t1=t2 , or pulsating cycle at P1≠P2 and t1≠t2.
EFFECT: ruling out subscales and crack formation, higher (10-25%) process efficiency at constant power consumption, reduced residual strain in coats.
