SUBSTANCE: isolation of lead from solutions, e.g. exhausted process solutions from electroplating shops, is carried out via precipitation with finely powdered aluminum in alkali medium at pH 12.5-13.5 and lead/aluminum molar ratio from 1:1 to 1:2, which allows isolation of lead in the form of powder or granules with no environmental pollution.
