FIELD: systems of joining structural panels, especially, thin hard floating or nonfastened floors. SUBSTANCE: adjacent edges of joint of two panels are connected with each other to form the first mechanical joint securing the joint edges in the first direction square to main plane of panels. Each joint is additionally provided with a strip made integral with one edge of joint and projects beyond the other edge of joint. Strip has locking member protruding upward and entering closing recess on rear side of other edge of joint to form the second mechanical joint fastening the panels in the second direction parallel to main plane of panels and at right angle to joint. Both the first and second mechanical joints allow displacement of joined panels in direction of joint. EFFECT: reduced labor input in joining of floor panels. 20 cl, 13 dwg
