FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodwork, particularly, to production of floor board mechanical locking systems. Floor board is displaced in direction of feed. Board first edge is displaced relative to first configuration of the tool. The latter comprises first and second tool units arranged on one side of first bearing pole with two opposite sides. Floor board top wear-resistant surface part is processed on first top edge to change the surface layer properties. First pair of locking surfaces is partially processed by first and second tool units. Proposed system comprises lower chain, upper belt or chain and several tool configurations to produce opposite edges. Upper belt or chain is directed horizontally by top guide and can press the floor board vertically against the lower chain.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of mechanical locking systems.
