FIELD: power engineering; mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: inner surface of engine housing is made in form of solid of revolution and provided with radial partitions. Converting mechanism has shaft with blades installed in housing for turning. Each blade divides space between partitions into two spaces: hot and cold ones. Engine has also timing gear, fuel, cooling and lubricating systems and engine output shaft. Hot space is in communication with intake and exhaust valves of timing gear, and cold space, with direct and return valves. Converting mechanism of engine has rocker-and-crank mechanism connecting shaft with blades with engine output shaft. Eccentric to change the length of output shaft crank is mounted on crank of converting mechanism. EFFECT: increased economy, enlarged operating capabilities of engine. 2 cl, 5 dwg
