FIELD: power engineering; transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotary abutment internal combustion engine has output shaft and hollow two-section housing with central partition, end face walls and cylindrical inner surfaces. Hollow cylindrical rotor with radial blades is installed eccentrically for rotation in each section of housing. Engine has oil tank partially filled with oil from which oil is delivered into inner space of rotor in one of sections. Outlet of oil is provided from other section. Outlet from central zone is connected to air space of tank. Labyrinth sealing grooves are made on ends of blades. Suction zone and compression zone of first section are interconnected by channel with valve regulating compression ratio. Blade inserts are made of two symmetrical longitudinally split halves accommodating flexible members, and channels are formed for collecting leakage oil and delivering the oil into channels connected to oil tank.
