FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has housing with exhaust and suction branch pipes, two pairs of vanes with side covers and central bushings mechanically coupled with output shaft through rocking mechanisms, forming variable volume working chambers in housing and creating expansion and suction zones in chambers depending on an angle of turning of out put shaft. Pipeline is installed on housing to connect expansion zone with suction zone at end of expansion cycle. This pipeline is connected with exhaust branch pipe through check valve whose opening force can be adjusted to meet output shaft rpm. Suction zone is connected with pipeline through check valve which opens when gas pressure in pipeline exceeds exhaust gas pressure. EFFECT: reduced inertial loads on mechanism members. 2 dwg
