FIELD: transport engineering; traction plants. SUBSTANCE: elliptical movable housing consists of two halves accommodating cylinder with heads with shafts projecting to different sides from middle part of housing. Shafts are rigidly connected with housing and have common axis square to cylinder axis and extensions for taking off the torque. Cylinder accommodates piston rigidly secured on center of rod (both serving as inertia masses of propulsor-engine). Ends of rod are provided with extensions in cylinder heads and shoes are secured on extension. Shoes rest on rollers built into piston control strips providing interdependent mechanical coupling between cylinder rotation around its with center on shaft axis and piston reciprocation inside cylinder. Toothed ring is found outside on one half with center on shaft axis. Gear of worm reduction gear installed on platform engages with toothed ring. Worm reduction gear is drive of propulsor-engine housing. EFFECT: development of considerable energy of inertia masses, possibility of energy storage and its rational usage for traction. 2 cl, 7 dwg
