FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed invention one doubled sectional piston with rod is installed in each compartment of engine frame in two opposite cylinder liners. Piston rod is provided with middle boss with cylindrical hole into which piston shaft is fitted by its central ball head. Piston shaft is furnished also with ball heads arranged on its ends. Engine is provided also with two main cylindrical shafts in each compartment, said shafts being installed coaxially by some ends in upper and lower halves of frame in center of its split on bearings, and on other ends, two cantilever pins are made from side of cylinder liners. Axes of pins are square to longitudinal axis of main shafts. Motion mechanism of each compartment contains two rocking cranks. One end of each crank is hinge-coupled through spherical shells with end ball head of piston shaft and other end is connected with pins of main shaft through bearings. Large and small gear wheels are installed on main shafts between bearings, respectively. Invention increases service life of engine by excluding side pressure onto walls of cylinder liners.
