FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of subluxed lens simultaneously with implantation of intraocular lens. Preliminarily, suture is applied in the root zone of iris near the ligament rupture place. Ends of threads are led out through iridotomy and are used to fix haptic element of intraocular lens. Lens is introduced into posterior chamber using suture thread as conductor. Fixation is located in the ligament defect zone. Cataract is extracted using intracapsular technique. EFFECT: prevented prolapse of vitreous body through pupil, blocked ligament defect zone, insured reliable fixation of intraocular lens, and reduced number of operative and postoperative complications. 3 dwg
